Duck Fat Flour Tortillas
Never experienced a homemade tortilla? Well, brace yourself for these flour tortillas made with decadent duck fat.
Far more tender and delicious than any store bought brand, you may never run to the grocery for this Latin American staple again.
In addition to their superior taste, these tortillas are easy to make, fast, and barely make a mess.
While I only made enough for four tortillas in the instructional video, the recipe posted makes enough for eight. I didn't have enough duck fat to make a full batch, but now you know this recipe can easily be halved or doubled. Enjoy!
Ingredients for 8 flour tortillas (if you want large burrito shells, divide into 4):
1 3/4 C of all-purpose flour
1/4 t of baking powder
1 t of salt
1 to 2 T of duck fat
1/2 C of warm water
